Hey guys, right now i have a gtx 570 in my rig and i want some more power. Would you guys recommend buying another 570 and SLI'ing it? or save up a bit, sell my current 570 and buy a 7970? Any other suggestions are welcome! Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.

A single 7970 seems better to me.
GTX 570 in SLi will be more cheaper but thee might be problems like micro-stuttering which on high end cards isn't much common though.
A single HD 7970 will consume less power too, than 570s in SLi. Further more, there would be overheating issues in SLi.

EDIT: Oh, and also, if going SLi, make sure you've got a good CPU.

I agree with the above post.

If you are unable to sell your 570 for a decent price then just go SLi. Personally though, I prefer the single card route because it typically consumes less power which in turn also produces less heat.

I vote single card solution.
