Why not just go for the single card solution? The gtx 680 should be slightly cheaper than running two cards in crossfire at the same time, plus you won't get driver issues and it should handle games very good. It's also got 2gb of memory. If you really want to crossfire then 6950x2 will do, but they aren't so easy to find nowadays.
