Some Qs about IDE master/slave config.

Hi i have some questions about the IDE cables configurations.

1. The master/slave position changes from the 40 wires to the 80 wires cable?

2. Do i have to set the devices in the M/S position even if i dont have them in Cable Select configuration?

3. Do all the types of cables support CS?
