Is A socket LGA775 Motherboard compatible with a IntelCore2 Quad q6600

I am preparing to use my computer with the specs below and a new Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus so I can use Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 CS5 or CS6 Creative Suite and want to upgrade my CPU

Yeah, if those specs are up to date, the E6600 or E4700 would be the fastest CPU you could use. Those would still be slow by today's standards, but roughly 2.5x faster than what you have now.

If you are really going to build a computer to run that very expensive software, I would do it right and upgrade the motherboard to socket 1155 and get at least an i3 if not an i5.
