Quadro 2000 or gtx 570

i just cant figure it out

should i get the quadro 2000 (stability i guess) or gtx570 (highend gamer card )

im using after effects and cinema 4d for the most part

... any pointers

If it's not for gaming then the Quadro 2000 would be a good choice.

cus all i see in the web are abunch of diagrems that show gtx out shining the quadroo

the quadro is used for rendering such as maya or autocad. but in adobe products the gtx can be used to maximize the cuda cores.

and the cuda cores are good for what?

i know theres certien kinda of effects that run on the gpu are they good for that
and of curse there is the open gl but thats only for preview

i dont use maya or max

pick out quadro these are the best cards for rendering,3d work,office, autocad etc...

CUDA™ is a parallel computing platform and programming model that enables dramatic increases in computing performance by harnessing the power of the graphics processing unit (GPU).

in other words, depending on the application, the software can use the cuda cores, the same as stream processors, to help the cpu complete a task.

after affect depends on openGL whereas premier uses cuda. it would be a good idea to google around or to read the differences on the adobe forums to find out how/why. a good start is:

i get it
but the thing is

the quadro will do nice on cinema 4d viewport which is what im using not maya
but will it do anicer job with the gtx570 (the cheeper choice) ?
