Hi there,

First post here, "Hi!" :hello:, and first PC build. I will be using the computer for mainly gaming and a little bit of HD video/photo editing. I will likely be using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop and playing games like SC2, D3, and future FPSs.

Could you look over my build, make sure everything is compatible, and make some recommendations on some possible improvements I could make to either price or performance? I think it's going to be a pretty strong system, but if you see any major "bottle-necking" components could you make some alternate recommendations?

I should also mention that I will be getting into overclocking and that's why I went with the i5-3570K. I have some more research to do on that which is why I haven't bothered with a 3rd party cooling fan... yet. Will the Motherboard be capable of overclocking? How about the GPU I have selected so far? I've read good things about it.

Also, should I bother with the SSD? There are lots of mixed reviews I've seen so far and just wanted some clarification on how big a benefit the boot times are for people.

I really appreciate any time and effort you put in to reading over all of this, thanks! :D

your build looks great. and yes you absolutely want SSD. also if you purchase your windows 7 oem now does your build qualify for the $15 Microsoft upgrade to Windows 8?
