I bought a 300 watt power supply that is approved for an athlon 1.2. Will this work on 1.4? its an a1 300 watt ps.
I also have a geforce 3/w tv out, sb liver x gamer, 12x burner, dvd-rom, 60gb hd, 5 point speakers, 21 inch monitor...
thats about it i believe.
I'd rather not buy another ps if this one will get all this stuff to run without any problems.

Thanks..

Probably should work without problems, provided it works fine for your 1.2 without problems.

What else you got in the system? If you have 1 HDD and 1 or 2 CD drives you should be okay as long as the PSU is high quality. A lot of chaep psu manufaturers add up max theoretical power for each voltage line, knowing in reality that the maximum power supplied is actually 15% lower.

I think the low quality P/S's report their values based on Peak to Peak voltage, which is of course a hoax since those values aren't used unless you have a perfect signal...

I've heard of 400W powersupplies only being 1/2 that....
