okay so i have 600 bucks for my graphics card

the two im choosing from are 2x 7870 in crossfire, or a single 7970,

i was considering buying a nvidia card, but i want to try out the amd cards since ive never used them before

if i get the 7970 i will most probably never crossfire it as i dont want to spend anymore money on my computer

Current System Specs:
intel i7 2600k @4.5ghz
16b G.Skill 1600mhz ram
Asrock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3
750W OCZ ZT Series PSU

computer uses = rendering videos, playing games, playing on 1920 x 1080 resolution, cad,

please give me your opinions and why

thank you

GTX 680 beats the 7970. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-680-rev... And AMD has driver issues in some games still. But if you might add 2 more 1080p screens for a high resolution gaming system 5760x1080 in the future the 3gb VRAM on the 7970 will help. And its gonna be hard as hell to find a 680 for a while except inflated pricing on Ebay. 7970 price dropped. HIS 7970 + Dirt3 $450 is a great price. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

just wait a little bit the 7970 prices just started dropping a couple of days ago(reg $550 also), due to the release of the GTX680 for $500 which has higher performance. Prices should go down in your country soon.
