my multimediaaudio controller and pci input have a hazard sign.
This hazard sign seemed to coincide with my updating of nvidia geforce graphics/sound?g800. I think.

So trying to find device, it is unknown. manufacturer says unknown. So i go into my specs, I have:
leadtek is manufacturer of mainboard model 760gxk8mc

amd athlon64/opteron HT Hub;is the model chipset

chipset model and device foxconn sis760 athlon 64 cpu to pci bridge

amd sempron processor2800 1.6 hz

foxconn sis7012 audio codec
version 2.01
disk controller; sis sis 180 raid controller foxconn

audio devices

creative labsct4830 sb live!value
device name
creative labs emu10k1 audio chipset

Now i seem to have two sound cards?
realtek ac97 seems to be fine on my audio devices.
What am i supposed to download to sort out the multimedia audio controller and pci input. This is what I cannot seem to work out. I know that there is definitely a problem with the sound, but it seems to be only with youtube? I can watch films listen to wmp all fine, even bbciplayer etc

I have an inkling this is to do with ATI, whatever that means. I am using windows7 ultimte. ANY ideas anyone? Also nvidia seems to have affected my BIOS cause it went into it whilst just incase you need it here are my bios as wellBIOS 10/08/2005-sis-760-6a717fkac-00

Sounds like a driver conflict. I googled the motherboard and it is a very old board, no SATA, all IDE, DDR 133mhz. Certain components on the board probably aren't supported anymore as the websites last update for the board was 2007. I don't know how you have windows 7 on it either. The proper controller for the sound is the FOXCONN one as that is the board manufacturer, either uninstall all audio drivers and go to FOXCONNS website and download the audio drivers from them, or just select the FOXCONN one that's already there.

Thank you very much, that's very kind of you. I did have my pc re teched with ram and sound card and graphics card.... by an IT expert/friend, and he put the windows 7 on it. It is a very old motherboard. I will try and do what you suggest. .........
