Hey, I have started this build for my Dad and I just need someone to check the parts to see if they are okay.

I have not included prices as i just need someone to check, also, will i need any sata cables to hook the dvd drive and hdd up to the motherboard. Thanks

The motherboard should come with atleast 2 SATA cables. What is your dad going to use the computer for? Work, office suite, gaming?

he will use it as a home pc however if he needs i will add a video card for games, thanks for the help

Well for basic home computer tasks I feel like the i3-2130 is a little quicker. The 965BE is good too though, I've had a few Phenom II X4 Deneb chips. If he does heavily threaded applications like video editing or rendering the Phenom is the better choice. But for browsing you can't get much better than an i3 for the price.
