It is time to build a new computer, and I am either going to build a new Z77 based system with a core i7 - 3770 or a 2x Xeon E5-2630 system.
I do a lot of heavy graphics, and encoding/rendering.
I already have a AMD 7970 video card, but I may buy a GTX690 with the new build.
How much performance advantage would I have with the dual Xeons? For gaming and other things would this system be overkill?
