Hello,
I will be upgrading to an SLI setup and need some advice. My current system build is:
CPU: INTEL 2600K @3.4GHZ
CPU Cooling: CORSAIR H70
MOBO: ASUS Maximus IV Extreme (Rev3.0)
MEMORY: GSKILL 4x16GB
HD: WESTERN DIGITAL Velociraptor 300GB 10K RPM
DRIVE1: LG Blu-ray
DRIVE2: HP DVD Lightscribe
PSU: CORSAIR 1200AX
CASE: 800D
AUDIO: BOSE Cinemate II
VIDEO: PANASONIC UV 50
GRAPHICS: PNY 580GTX 1.5GB
I also purchased an ASUS SLI bridge which I should get soon. I was wondering if it made any difference if I bought a different brand of 580GTX or if it's better to use the same PNY that I have. Is there any performance difference? I know it won't matter upgrading to a 3GB 580GTX unless I can go above 1080P. Is there anything that I need to watch out for in the second 580GTX?
