Hey,

I just got the 7850 OC version. The clock runs at 920 mhz and the memory is at 1225 mhz. I upped the clock to 1000 mhz and the memory to 1325 mhz. This being the oc version would this be a problem with voltages or could I overclock it a bit more?

You never know until you try! However the 7850 is known to be a good overclocker so go for it. Make sure it is stable by using a tool such as MSI Kombustor or Furmark to stress test it and make sure you visually check for artifacts.

Edit: Beat me to It!

i would normally go for 10~15% increase from the stock clock / whatever the preset is, i guess tweaking around with it is the best way to do things, and you wont kill your card by doing so, - unless you go do something really really wrong and stupid =)

thats well within the limits just increase the clocks slowly until you get the performance you're looking for. The maximum confortable temperatures for me would be around 70Celcius while playing intensive 3d games. On 28nm that'll probably hard to hit anyway :D
