PSU recommendation

Hey there,

I am building my new rig and I am having trouble on what PSU to get.

My Rig:

i7 3770K
Asus P8Z11 V-Deluxe
EVGA GTX670
Corsair 16GB (2x8GB)
WD 500GB

I will be using the PC for games, VFX, Video editing and Maya, Mudbox, Nuke, Ae, Ps etc.

Might Overclock CPU in the future.

So what would a good PSU to get.

On my research I found that 600w would be ok. Is that correct?

The ones I looked for are GS600, GS700 and TX650.


What should I do?

600w should be enough unless you plan on doing multi gpu setup in the future

GS600 or TX650 would suffice for your rig. You don't need too much power

I would go with a 620w Seasonic psu. They are super reliable and for 89 bucks you can get a modular unit from newegg.
