Aspect ratios 6:10 6:9

Hi all first time poster here

Im looking for some help pls, looking at getting a 24" 1920x1200 16:10 monitor and trying to find out if it's possible to run any at 16:9?

i love gaming at hi-res with my eyefinity x3 24" but looking to upgrade my main panel for 3Ds max and maya usage but don't want to lose eyefinity and don't have the desk space for 4

The aspect ratio is 16:9 or 16:10 and yes, you can, but you'll either end up with black bars at the top and bottom of the 16:10 monitor, or it'll be stretched. You will also find that the 16:10 monitor will not line up correctly with a 16:9 monitor of the same size, making eyefinity look off.
