GTX 560 Ti DS Superclocked vs GTX 560 TI

Let me know what you think guys. I am trying to build a gaming pc with a Gigabyte MoBo,I5-2500K, and a decent graphics card. I want the graphic's card price to stay at around $250. Should i get the GTX 560 Ti DS Superclocked or GTX 560 TI. If there is a better card that you could suggest than let me know.

More about superclocked
  1. Highly recommend you go with these two Radeon 6850 1GB because in most cases it beats a single GTx 560Ti...

    If you can, try to get a 7870 which is at $250 range...

    Not understanding... the irony is strong with this one.
  5. Well i had the EVGA GTX 560Ti Superclocked DS edition and it worked very very well untill it broke, i honestly didnt think id need another GPU for quite a while but when it broke i bought a HD 7870...but still the GTX 560Ti Superclocked DS is very very good its definitely worth the money.

    That is true but why not help the OP while you are having a pop ?

    The standard GTX 560Ti may get beaten by a 6850 in a few very specific games at resolutions that suit the 6850 better than the 560, but please don't for a minute believe that a 6850 is in general any match for a GTX 560 in any of its guises, much less so the version you are looking at.
    The fastest clocked GTX 560 Ti that I have seen reviewed was actually faster than the fastest clocked 6970 I have seen reviewed.
    6850 really :pfff:

    Mactronix :)

    What is the best GTX 560 for a $250 price range
  8. Cards I would look at are these

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121425

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127578

    Both are decent cards but the Hawk has higher clocks for a start and should (cant say will) over clock further.

    Mactronix :)
  9. Just get a 7850 for $250 than... It can OC really high probably up to 1GHz+ and it cools pretty good... Guaranteed to achieve a 1050/1450 overclock with little effort.

    EDIT: This card will loose to GTx 560Ti @ BF3 but it's a may be as BF3 uses Nvidia video card much more than ATI GPU power so proabably lower FPS by 10FPS but after OC, you should get like 10FPS higher vs stock GTx 560Ti in BF3...

    I disagree. The GTX 560 ti is way better than the Radeon 6850.

    Edit: Where can I get a 7870 for $250, pleaseeee?
  11. The 7850 is better than 560ti but here is my opinion if the two:
    7850 = overclocked + overpriced
    560ti = great OCer + better driver + better price (~ $200)
