Boston digital ba735 windows 7

hello, purchased a new acer tower with windows 7 installed. trying use my BOSTON DGITAL BA735 SPEAKERS! BUT NO OUTPUT! PLEASE HELP. OR DO I NEED TO PURCHASE REALTEK SPEAKERS?

If you are not using digital out, or your sound card does not have it, those speakers won't work.

Not sure why you think you need Realtek speakers, they are not a very good brand especially compared to the Boston Acoustic speakers you have. If you have the space for the sub and can't get the BA speakers to work, try these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121034 for a good value, or http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0051WAM64/ref=asc_df_B0051WAM641876025?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B0051WAM64 for a really nice higher end 2.0 setup.

PC does not matter, the components are pretty much the same in all of them, you pick which ones to get in either brand. You can get a sound card with digital out also if you want, maybe cheaper than new speakers. And did you check if your sound card has digital out or how to enable it?
