Just bought these parts and they should be arriving by Wednesday. Do you guys think I'll be able to max out Battlefield 3, Witcher 2, and Skyrim with this build?

I saw the Radeon 6950, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to max out all those game with a good frame rate, but I Did not feel like finding the monitor.

Any idea on what my frames should be? Also is the Mobo and ram I got good enough?

No one can really just say what your frame rates will be, you'll have to see for your self unfortunately. And about the MoBo, I Couldn't really answer that, the reviews looked really bad. I'd suggest going for something "more expensive", you don't have to go expensive for a nice MoBo but you shouldn't go cheap on one either. One of the guys had said, his board started to literally piece off. I LOL'd at that.

Wow, that's my build almost exactly (same mobo / GPU / CPU).......I maxed out everything easily! I hate the stock cooler on the CPU, but you seem to have that covered with your aftermarket solution. GPU rocks, blasts through everything (ultra on everything, AA, etc). BF3 looks amazing.

The mobo is perfect, and it's a really good deal at the price range. The bad reviews were mostly from people who thought their old chips would work on the board. The mobo actually has an IDE connector lol. Anyway, it's a great motherboard, and you can overclock pretty easily. RAM settings have to be changed (defaults at 1333). Nice build ;)

If you oc a little to your cpu then you will get some extra frame. But you will get 40+ fps in all game except BF3.

Whatever, nothing can slow your rig. Just max out everything.

nk using an am3 motherboard is extremely shortsighted . It might be cheap but its a dead end

Use a mb with a 970 series chipset , and an FX 4100 processor .

But fx-4100 is not good. phenom ii x4 is better than 4100. 965be with 970 chip is good chioce.

You could still use a phenom on an Am3+ motherboard

and since the fx 4100 games about as well as an i3 2100 in DX 11 games [ in the comparison on this site earlier this year ] , and the phenom is a little behind that [ in the system builder marathon budget builds last year ]
I seriously doubt the "fx is not good"
