Upgrading Inspiron 580 CPU from i3 to i5

I'm trying to upgrade an Inspiron 580 with built in video on the motherboard. It has an i3-530 and I'm installing an i5-760. When booting up, I get no video and 6 beeps.

In doing a search, 6 beeps on a 580 seems to indicate a video card error. I also found that some CPUs will not support onboard video.

Does anyone know if the i5-760 will support the onboard video on the motherboard? Thanks!

The i5-760 has no GPU built in the processor like the i3-530 does. You will need to purchase a discrete graphics card.
