Asus Xonar DG No sound

Hello,
I just bought an Asus Xonar DG 5.1 Pci audio card and installed it on my computer. I have the HDA cable for the front panel attached to the correct pins, card is seated in the pci slot securely. The issue I am having is that there is no sound at all coming from any ports, front or back panel. I have disabled the onboard sound card, still nothing. It shows that the device is detected and is the default device, but it still does not work. I have tried installing, uninstalling, reinstalling drivers, placing the card in another pci slot, restarting the computer, and using the unified xonar drivers found online, and still no luck. I bought this card because the onboard sound card's input stopped working, and now i have NO SOUND AT ALL... please respond. Thank you

Sounds like you have a good case for calling that unit DOA and either taking it back to where you got it for a replacement/refund, or you could opt to RMA it to Asus.
