I am building a gaming computer for the first time and I need to know if this setup will work

Motherboard- AsRock X79 Extreme 7
CPU- i7-3820
Video Card- Galaxy GTX 670
HDD- Seagate SATA3 1TB
Optical Drive- Blu-ray Writer LG
Ram- 2*4GB
Case&Power- Thermaltake Spacecraft VF-I

You dont need socket 2011 for gaming

Use socket 1155

i5 3570k
MB with a Z77 chipset
2 x4 gig of RAM
120 gig SSD

that will game as well , cost less , and boot and load faster
