im building my first high end gaming PC and need help/recommendations on the best gaming monitor to show off my machine for under $200. I would like the monitor to have the lowest possible response time (2ms) and have LED backlighting. Also, the best specs for gaming like refresh rate and others, with a screen size of around 23" for under $200. Im new to buying computer monitors and i dont know which is best for gaming for the best price. im willing to buy from any reputable online retailer like Amazon, newegg, tigerdirect, etc. i want my gtx 670 to look its best!!

Thanks for your time

I don't think that you can beat the deal on this last one as it meets your spec's and is a low price.

Except I just notices that it doesn't have the led backlight so you would hve to move up to the next couple of choices.

I would have to agree with hellfire24. The Asus vh238h is probably the best. I own this monitor myself and couldn't be more happy. Its bright, colorful, offers low response at 2ms, power efficient, has no ghosting issues, and looks good sitting on your desk! I encourage you to consider this monitor and if you have further questions about my vh238h, feel free to message me.

If your budget was a little higher then you could consider this monior and the reason for that is because it has a refresh rate of 120hz and while it is 3D capable it's not just a 3D monitor but a full HD one as well. The refresh rate is the reason for posting this and those who have this monitor tell me that they would never go back to a regular refresh rate monitor.

These are all TN panels made for higher refresh rates and response time more for gaming while IPS cost more for better Colour
