So i want to upgrade my current computer, and i need some advice.
Im thinking of getting the new Intel Core i5 3570K Ivy Bridge (BX80637I53570K) CPU but i cannot figure out which motherboard to get for it just yet.
Im currently using the Scythe Yasya for my CPU cooling needs, and im in doubt if im able to use it for the new CPU? because some sites say it fits on the 1155 socket and some sites do not. Does anyone know for sure if the Scythe Yasya will fit on a LGA1155 socket?
I have been thinking of getting the MSI B75MA-P45 motherboard, as im not planning on using more than 1 GPU anyways. My question regarding this motherboard is, if it will take advantage of the new CPU fully or is it a bottleneck for it, and should i be looking out for something else?
Im also thinking of getting the ASUS GTX670 DC2 2GD5, but im gonna use my XFX HD5850 Blackedition until then, and i guess there wouldnt be any problem using my old card in the PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, because i figure its backwards compatible, but im not sure, so if its not please do tell.
On the memory department, im planning on using the ram from my old system which are 4096 MB DDR3 PC3-10666 CORSAIR XMS3 DHX 1333MHz, which i think will be fine for the new system, but again im not 100% sure, maybe i should upgrade to new ram?
Any help would be appreciated.
