Hello, so I'm planning on upgrading my graphics card. My question is if I buy a 680 gtx(I might buy two to sli), will it work on my current motherboard? My current motherboard is ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel. or do I have to upgrade that as well(which I don't want to do because that means I have to reboot my whole computer). thanks!

Not much for gaming. The main change between versions is the amount of bandwidth per lane of a PCIe link. From 1 to 2 and 2 to 3, the bandwidth per channel doubled. That means a PCIe 2 x16 link has the same amount of bandwidth as a PCIe 3 x8 lane. Saying it doesn't matter is far too simplistic, but most users aren't going to see a difference.
