GTX 680 with 5760x1080 Monitor Setup

I've been thinking about getting a EVGA Superclocked GTX 680 to replace my two XFX Radeon 6870's in Crossfire. I was just wondering if a single pre overclocked GTX 680 would be able to handle a three monitor setup and still achieve good FPS.

My specs are: (Besides 6870s)
i7 2600k (OC to 4.5 ghz)
8 GB Corsair Vengeance 1866 mhz
Asus P8p67 Deluxe Motherboard
120 GB OCZ Vertex 3 SSD
1 TB Seagate Barracuda
Corsair HX850 PSU

Thanks in advance!

  1. It should be able to drive the three monitors without additional hardware (unlike the GTX 5XX series), as far as performance goes, what resolution and games are you looking at?

If its good enough for these games, its good enough for just about anything.

Also sk1939, he said the resolution in the title. :P

Probably more heavy games like BF3, Skyrim, and Crysis 2 mostly. But sometimes even just WoW, Rift, and other games like Shogun 2 Total War

Thanks a lot for the graphs. Really helped! Was debating between the 7970 and 680 anyway so thanks a bunch!
