I looked inta the cards and readup ...seems the GC83 has EDGE and works fine ...Sierra 775 has similar features. Lotsa places sell the prior models that have either EDGE missing or have not got tri band leaving you high and dry sometimes... I don't see what the big deal is here ...I think I can use a USB cable to my RazrV3 and do the same thing ...am I missing something here?

Speed. The RAZR only has GPRS, and is thus limited to about 50 Kbps, whereas
the EDGE PC Cards are about 3x faster, up to about 150 Kbps.
