what's mean C2D 2.4?

Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz

If you are looking at computer specs with a view to buying one then a Core 2 Duo @2.4GHz will be ok for general tasks and day to day computing as well as some light gaming (depending on the graphics that come with it) but wouldn't be up to playing today's games at high settings.
