Hey everyone.

I was thinking lately i already have bought fx 8150 and msi 990fxa-gd80 motherboard but i was thinking in buying an intel i7 3770k and z77 gd 80 MB. I know its not about more cores=more performance but please tell me whats better because in benchmarks on 1 site intel wins and in the same bench on another site amd wins. So what are the pros and what are the cons is it worth selling my parts and going for intel when windows 8 is coming out and is promising better compatibility for 8150...i would overclock both (have corsair H80) but i dont know how need more thinking and looking on forums and trying etc. So please tell me your ideas and thank you all in advance.

the AMD FX 8150 is strong, but in single threaded applications, which requires only one core of the cpu to process, the i7 certainly wins it..
but, FX 8150 with it 8 cores, certainly is a good thing to have and gets the job done quick also...so,

my 2 cents:

stick with your FX 8150, wait next year for Intel Haswell cpu if you insist on having Intel...

I dont insist i just want to have a good gaming computer and want to game + stream at the same time and i cant stream even a fcking Leage of legends on this processor i dont know why. Please tell me a solution and what would you go if you would buy a NEW processor if you dont take in mind that you already have 8150

its not your processor keeping you from streaming league of legends.

ok, your FX 8150 processor configuration is already GOOD.

it can game almost any game on earth...

to stream LoL, just upgrade ur internet speed.

I noticed that it isnt the internet speed that is holding me back......because when i JUST turn on xsplit and dont start streaming just start the damn program and it starts shuttering when i have it on full screen its no problem but viewers dont see anythink but black screen....and when i set it to windowed or borderless its shuttering and stuff.......please tell me a sollution or if the I7 3770k OC would help it. Thanks in advance.

don't waist your money just oc your cpu and wait for Haswell or Steamroller

Edit: what's your internet speed

What GPU (Graphics card) are you running?

Core allocation! Set your streaming program to use, say, core 7 and core 1, then your games core 0,2,4,6.

Should lessen the stuttering by a big amount.

how much ram and internet do you have?

go to speedtest.net and check. Also whats your gpu?

I have a good internet and 16gb of ram and GTX 560 ti golden sample.....but back to the point....i dont care about the price i only care about the performance.....which is better and if you wanted to buy a new computer(didnt have any) which would you take.

That CPU is NOT holding you back it's as simple as that. For a streamer though your graphics card is pretty cr@p you can use it to join the leagues of other streamers broadcasting stuttery low setting gameplay...... the black screen is likely you doing something wrong.

To answer you straight the i7 is obviously better but unless you get a GTX680 its irrelevent as the CPU is not your choke point.

hi Karol401...

for me, if money is not the problem, i would get the i7 3770K.

i would overclock it to 4.5 ghz.

and with that speed, the FX 8150 is certain to be buried alive and choke to death.

Simply because with a much better core, and processor architechture, the i7 3770K gets done much things better than the 8 core FX 8150.

the FX-8350 is out now so you could look at that too
