hey,i wanna know..does upgrading cpu boost up graphics performance....
i have a dual core 2.5,hd 5670,4gb ram.....
if i upgrade my cpu to 3rd generation....will it increase fps....or should i upgrade my graphics card...????

You will see more of an improvement if you upgrade your CPU first. Go for an I3 3220, it goes for a good price for what it does.

I would say should upgrade both your CPU and GPU. Currently they are at the same level of performance so if you were to get a i3 3220 you should also get a HD7770 or 7850 or a GTX660 for better performance overall.

The 5670 is mainstream, his CPU though is below mainstream. I agree that he should upgrade both but he should really start with a CPU, and considering he says 3rd gen I suspect he already has an 1155 socket mobo, otherwise I would have said a Phenom II 955/965 :)
