Which configuration is better?

I'm about to built a new system and i'm confused between two following configurations:

1.

CPU: AMD 3 GHz AM3 Phenom II 960T

Mobo: ASUS M5A97 Motherboard

PSU: Corsair CMPSU-600CXV2UK 600 Watts

Processor Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Cooler

GPU: HIS AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6670 1 GB GDDR5


and

2.



CPU: i3 - 2120

Mobo: Intel DH67CL

PSU: Seasonic s12ii 520w

GPU: GIGABYTE GV-R777OC-1GD


Which configuration is better in case of performance and gaming?

The second one has a much better GPU.

I'm also favoring that configuration but one part of this configuration is prohibiting me....H67 mobo wont utilize the onboard graphics after installing GPU....That part is striking me..

I agree with #2.

No need for onboard graphics when you have a discrete graphics card.

thanks...I'm going with the second config...But i have another query...

The cabinet which i have chosen is NZXT Vulcan Gaming mATX chassis (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146065)..But i am not sure about whether these components would fit in this cabinet or not ...So should i buy this cabinet?

I like the vulcan case, but it is a M-ATX case which needs a m-atx motherboard(or ITX). The DH67CL is a full sized ATX motherboard which will not fit. The other parts fit ok.

There are any number of M-atx motherboards that will do,
