What's the difference between the two other than the brands of mobo and GPU?
June 18, 2012 9:46:01 PM

Well its two different shops so they got different prices etc.

Also i don't really know which mobo to go with the ASRock is 25$ cheaper than the Gigabyte. But the ASRock board isn't available at the second shop.

And the 7850 is on sale at the second shop.

And i don't know if the 750W is overkill? I might run Xfire in the future.

750 is overkill for one card, 550 would be enough. If you plan to CF then get the 750.

Which Asrock board is it? The extreme4, PRO3?

Either of those or the Gigabyte are good boards.

Oh sry its the Z77 Extreme 4.

Also what do you think about the XFX vs the Sapphire card?
June 18, 2012 10:18:34 PM

The extreme4 is a great board. So is the UD3H. Compare the features and see if one has something you like more about the other, but if I remember correctly the are pretty similar.

I would get the Sapphire card over the XFX.

Get the Corsair TX650 V2, its enough for two HD 7850 in CF with that setup. Check this website: http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp
I read some great reviews on the sapphire card, very quiet. Don't know about the XFX though. I'm getting the sapphire in two weeks.
Great build otherwise.

when equipped with a decent PCB, VRM and cooler has proved itself to be among the best for the bunch in this department reaching OC's of more than 30%. ;)

Now i'm primary looking at the MSI G45 vs ASRock Ex4 vs Gigabyte UD3H
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submi...|13-128-544^13-128-544-TS%2C13-130-645^13-130-645-TS%2C13-157-293^13-157-293-TS
Where the MSI is about 40$ cheaper than the UD3H
And the ASRock is about 25$ Cheaper that the UD3H

MSI G45: 151,08 $
ASRock Ex4: 171,08 $
Gigabyte UD3H: 195,17 $

Would go with the AsRock or Gigabyte reason why i have had issues with MSI mobos in the past more than once but that doesn't mean it's not a good board just prefer the other two because i have not had big issues with any of those two motherboards Asus is really good as well IMO. I would just pick the one you like best
