Hello,
I'm looking at the system requirements for Diablo 3 and I'm trying to figure out if my graphics card will handle it. Memory and processor passes requirements.

The game minimum requirements calls for NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800 GT or ATI Radeon™ X1950 Pro and recomends a NVIDIA® GeForce® 260 or ATI Radeon™ HD 4870 or better.

I have a ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 series. I found this info in the system information (not sure if there is a place to get more specific). Would the card I have suffice or would an upgrade be needed?

Solution
Well after researching some more I found out that their are only 3 cards within the 4300 to 4500 series. The 4350,4550 256mb and the 4550 512mb.All of which are very weak and well below even the minimum required for an AMD card which is a X1950 Pro.

Depending on what version of windows you have click on the windows logo or start button or whatever you have at the botton left of you screen. In the search box or by clicking on 'run' again depending on the version of windows type 'dxdiag' and hit enter. The second tab should show you exaclty what video card you have installed.

What card do you have exactly?

Download GPU-Z if you don't know.Post back with a screenshot or if you the card model if you see it.

I would suggest getting a new card. With a card from way back then even on the lower tier your probably only going to be able to play on the lowest settings possible. You'll get a lot of bang for your buck upgrading to a newer card.

Also AMD is going to discontinue support for the 4000 series in June so that means no more driver updates.
