Crossfire 6870 problem

I just set up crossfire for my 6870's and i had one monitor on each graphics card, ran fine, shut down, put on the crossfire cable, restarted, enabled the crossfire, then the monitor plugged into my bottom card no longer showed up. it still recognizes that i have two graphic cards in device manager but within screen resolution, monitor settings, it does not recognize that i have a second monitor attached.

Plug both of the monitors into the top card, not 1 in each.

keep in mind not all 6870s have 2 dvi ports .. i know the older launch versions do at least most of them but then again your more then likely going to need to use the mini dvi ports ..

ok i wasn't sure if i would be able to have one in each, i was really hoping i would be able to. I was getting a lot of weird temps with one running at 35C and the other at 60C idle, and spiking at 83C on a low end game. even though they were spaced out. I believe i have them configured better having one open port inbetween them and having the bottom card as the main card. This is getting the temps around 48C and 43C idling which is fine.
