Approximate Purchase Date: Within a month

Budget Range: I would like it to be at around $600, but I need a monitor and OS too (Win7HP64), so $600 to $750.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Recording with Fraps, Rendering videos with Camtasia or SVP10 <<<All high priority, then watching HD video, browsing

Parts Not Required: Mouse, Speakers, Keyboard

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Microcenter, I live near one and we are building this computer (btw, Microcenter has this deal on CPU's that when you buy one, you get I think $50 off the motherboard)

Country: US

Parts Preferences: AMD CPU

Overclocking: Most likely not

SLI or Crossfire: Perhaps in the future, not now

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: For gaming, recording, and rendering. I do not want the computer to be loud. I want to play Minecraft at max settings. Skyrim at high, preferably max. BF3 at high. Total War games (Shogun 2, Rome, Medieval 2) at max. Portal 2 at max. Pretty much it. Thanks in advance guys because I am having lots of trouble finding this haha!

And want a AMD CPU, I don't want the i3 or i5. I know of the FX 6100, 6200, 4170, and 4100, but Microcenter only has the 6100 and 4100... and the 4100 is quad-core (wouldn't be as fast as the six core 6100 in rendering).
Oh and lots of USB's in the motherboard. I have lots of stuff! I was looking at the M5A97 EVO AM3+ for this.

Would you recommend the 4100 over the 6100? And you're a little off, all from Microcenter and I need it to be on the lower end of the spectrum closer to $600.

I can get a decent rig under $750, but there is no way you'll get a good rig out of $600 because I have to spend $200+ on the OS and Monitor.

Under $750 = perfect. Just not a penny more :)
I'd prefer $700.
And I know, it sucks that I must get the OS and monitor. :\
