Nvidia Go 6800 and HD video

Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 with Pentium M 1.73GHz.

In XP 32bit I used the v270.61 drivers forced from laptopvideo2go since Dell have ancient drivers. This improved HD video playback but also smooth webm/html5 video file playback on youtube in firefox.

Updated to windows 7 32bit but can't seem to find anything good on laptopvideo2go. My question is basically shouldn't my card be able to play HD at least 720p and webm/html5 smoothly.

If not then what part of my gpu is it that is the bottleneck? it's video ram? it's core clock?

It's not your video card that's the problem, it's your single core Pentium M. I know that mine dosen't like 720P video all that much.

I'd go with sk1939, probably your cpu. Just in case you could open task manager and see cpu usage.

Also just a side note, why not download drivers straight from the source? http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
