Can you have 2 dd wrt client bridge routers on the same network

Hello, i have 2 linksys wrt54gs v6 both flashed with ddwrt. the problem i am having is only one will get internet and the other is only local network i would like to run one in my living room and one in my sons room with the crappy netgear router in my bedroom connected to the modem. odly enough which ever router is powered on last is the one with the internet is there a work around. im running ddwrt micro v24. any help would be grate if this is possible. ive tried changing the mac address on the routers

after searching both of the routers settings i noticed that they both had the default mac address even though both had cloned macs the actual mac address was the same i fixed the problem by changing the actual mac address of one of the routers

oh yeah thank you for mentioning that maybe the ips were the same it got me thinking about the mac address also. im a novice when it comes to dd-wrt but thank you for your help anyways
