Visual difference between 560 and 560ti?

Hi all

While I assume I'm being paranoid, I've had a few bad experiences in the past so..

I went to the local computer store on the weekend to order a new system. They were out of stock on the Asus 560ti's I was looking for. I received a call today that their 560's were in stock, went in, was told they weren't getting the 822 mhz, but the new card was 850.
After I left I noticed my invoice only listed a 560, nothing about a TI, a quick look online noted that there is a 850mhz 560 (non ti) version.

The store staff have been nothing but polite, but (as mentioned) I've had bad experiences in the past with another store.

So is there any way to tell when I get the system back if it has a 560 or a 560ti in it?

Thanks for any help/suggestions you can offer.

It would most likely be a 560. The 560 TI is of a different architecture and is much better

There is usually a sticker somewhere on the card that will have the model number and some manufacturers actually state it on the sticker (fan side).

Take it back, don't even hassle with it too much. Better safe than sorry, good luck!

If it's clocked at 850, it's definitely the 560 OC (which I have personally, and it's a great card for a non Ti 560, and it OC's very well too), but since you wanted the 560Ti, yeah, I'd say take it back or don't pick it up at all and wait for them to get a real 560Ti in.

Just go to device manager and check. It will list the model there. Also, if you wanted/paid for GTX 560 Ti, don't let them fool you with non ti model! GTX 560 Ti is generally much better card.
