Hi guys,

Whats the difference between the Series 40, 60 and 90 (and what ever others
there are). So far i'm guessing that the 40 is a regular mobile phone and is
only upgradable with java apps, series 60 is a smartphone similar to Windows
smartphones and 90 i have no idea...

from what i was reading on infosync.no symbian os is not the same as series
60 (as i previously thought)

Thanks!

Gareth

Yup. The 6100 being an example

Yup it's a Symbian based smart-phone. 6600, Ngage.

Still Symbian but more enhanced, not sure of the precise details however.

It is Symbian OS, but it's a version designed for mobile-phone use, rather
than PDA use.
