Hey everyone. I have a GTX 660 ti at the very moment and a horrible CPU ( a6 3600 apu). My card is being bottle necked by that processor. I was thinking about upgrading to the phenom 965 BE and overclocking it to the max it can go. Would I be able to get the best out of my card with this upgrade? Please don't reply with i5s or i7s suggestions as they are out my budget. I am willing to upgrade to a new Am3+ mobo for this upgrade. So if there is any other cpus reccomendations at that price point? ($200 with mobo) max. Please and thank you. :wahoo:

ya get the 965BE and put it to 4Ghz+ but note that if you put anything more powerful in there it will be bottlenecked

Go 1155 ($52) and i3-3220 ($130), or AM3+ ($52) and FX-4300 ($130). The AMD build will be stronger (Decently so if heavily overclocked), but use twice as much power.
