Chrome problems

Has anyone else had trouble using TH with Chrome lately? When using Chrome I've had lots of trouble lately:
1. Links don't turn blue after I've visited them (I have another post on this topic)
2. Tom's (no other site) runs very slow and locks up for minutes on a regular basis.

I use Chrome for all my other sites but lately I've switched ti Internet Explorer for Tom's stuff. Is there a reason for this or am I just going bonkers.....

Oracle's lack of attention to security holes in Java may have something to do with this. They finally patched it but allegedly, only by turning up your security to the maximum level and some of Tom's adverts might be slower to load.

Yes, I heard about the java problems but I diabled it when I first heard the news. Chrome still had the problems I described. Yesterday I re-enabled java after I got the update and it seemed to help but now it's worse than ever. Still using IE for now.... Thanks for the info....
