Hello,
today I am suppose to get a evga580gtx($437) in the mail.

I seen the benchmarks and I am worried that It won't play my games on max settings smoothly(Witcher 2, Skyrim,BF3,Crysis 2)

so my question is that why should I have to spend so much on a video card when it can't run my games at max setting smoothly?

my specs:
dual asus 24" monitors
8gb of ddr2 ram
1090T amd phenon
right now im on a 8800gt video card

Are you playing games at 1920x1080 or 3840x1080?

It will max Crysis 2 and BF3 at 1920x1080 easily. Skyrim it will do as well unless you bog it down with an insane amount of textures and mods, and even then it should still be fine. Witcher2 is a different case.
