Ups making high pitched noise ALL THE TIME

I have a Turbo-X 2000 VA Line Interactive UPS and when it's on, no matter what's going on with the computer (whether it's off or not) it makes this really high-pitch annoying sound that drives me CRAZY. Is this fixable? T_T (oh, and apparantly, I'm the only one who can hear this sound.)

Coil Whine is what it is called. Different people are more or less sensitive o it. The only way to fix it is to exchange your UPS for another one.
