Notebook won't turn on

Hello,
My samsung notebook suffered a bumb, it wouldn't turn on (lights and fans would but the screen remained black), tried removing the RAM still won't come on.
Any help greatly appreciated

plug external display and see if you get any signal
why would you take out the ram?
also press the fn (function) key on bottom left corner of your keyboard and while the fn key is pressed in press the f1-f12 kays to toggle between internal/external display ( it will have an icon of two displays on it)
