I have a few questions about graphics cards compatibility. I am upgrading an older system of mine by putting in a better PSU. An upgrade from 305 watts to 500 watts. My intention is to install a better graphics card, would 500 watts be enough to crossfire 5550's? and Does the biostar p43d3 motherboard support crossfire?

Are you sure thats the motherboard model? Even the BIOSTAR website doesn't list it.

The motherboard I have right now I know for certain does not support it. And I'm trying to upgrade from spare parts I have laying around. That motherboard I know will support my processor. And buying new parts is out of the picture.

That helps, no it only has 1 PCI-e x16 lane, so no Crossfire buddy.
