Hello everyone,

I have a Saphire HD 7850 OC, it is already OC'd a bit by default, but I have been reading getting at least to 1100 Mhz and even 1200 Mhz is pretty safe, is this true?.

If so I think I would like to OC it to 1100 Mhz to be safe, but does this void the warranty?, additionally how should I overclock this car?. I noticed the catalyst center can do it, is this the best way?, additionally I have an Asus Maximus IV Gene-z/Gen 3 that I believe can also do OC to the GPU, what is the correct approach?.

My card seems to runs very cool, even at load it is only at 55 C, so I guess a little OC should keep it safe, what do you guys think?

Overdrive is fine, that's what I use. I think you should max out at a ghz, maybe less...

Heello. The Sapphire 7850 OC Edition can over clock to up to 1050mhz core clock. 1200mhz i think should be safe for the memory. Type in "sapphire 7850 hardwareheaven". That should answer your quesiton further.
