DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG: Device hung due to badly formed commands.. GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560ti ", Driver: 29610

Got this a couple of times, think it may also be involved in my random SWTOR/BF3 crashes.

anyone any ideas?

i recently installed my second called for SLI....

2 brand new cards both perfect condition, what is up with this

Did you just set up SLI?

I've found, when initially setting up SLI, you should set up the drivers first with the SLI connector off and both cards installed. Then shut down the PC, install the SLI connector (teeth on the connector edges up), boot the PC, go into control panel, then enable SLI.

This issue is not specific to SLI it seems to be a Bf3 issue. I googled your error message and there were 100s of returns. The only realistic common fix seems to be to update the video card bios.
