Resident Evil 4 Question

After one leaves the house where the typewriter and gave same option
is...

And walks into that large group of virus people, the ones which are
doing farm chores, raking, pushing a wheel barrel..... what is the
best way to get through their attack?

Should one stay and fight, as I have ten times and ended up dead...

Or should one move past the most of them.. and just get away?

Or are there essential items on them enough to make it necessary to
stay and fight? (meaning I am going to have to learn some real fight
moves)

Just back up into the walkway where none of them can come at you from
behind. When they get all bunched together throw a grenade in there. Why
are you asking this question in an Xbox group?
