Hi all.

On most notebook computers, there's convient alt-button that looks like a crescent moon to put the computer to sleep.
But keyboards on Desktop PCs don't have this.

So, how to most people quickly put a Desktop PC to sleep?
Anything faster than Start-Shutdown-Sleep?

A good idea to use the restart button to sleep?

Soved it myself (sort of).

What I had to do is download Microsoft psshutdown.exe.
Then create a shortcut using D:\psshutdown.exe -d -t 00 to put the pc to sleep.
Then assign the Shortcut Key: to F2.
Now the PC goes to sleep after pressing F2.

Some pages suggest to use
rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0
But that will put the PC on hibernation on most systems.

you take off the battery and put it on again and then turn on the computer and click F2 when the sony logo is on and will bring you a menu where it says locked you click unlock and click DONE and then it will say options and then it will say turn off computer stand by sleep.............
