Can anyone think of a good way to perform a BIT on shared L3 cache? (Parity prot

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to go about performing diagnostics on shared level 3 cache memory?
For L1 and L2 I can use a redundant CPU voting mechanism, but I'm stuck on the L3.
