  1. The radeon 6670 is a much better choice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102952 and it's cheaper!
  2. i saw that. the thing is it it's still ddr3. whereas the 440 is gddr5. or ... does it really matter that much?
  3. Even if it does get high settings it will be a bottleneck to the CPU. I'd recommend this one:

    or

There still will be some bottlenecking, but that's the highest you can go on your budget.

hmmm then should i downgrade the cpu to something else? what do you recommend? it's a budget pc and it's my first time sooooooo. im kind of lost in this sort of situation.
  5. Bottlenecking is when one component of the PC is not fast enough to keep up with other ones. Then they all start working at its speed, leading to the PC delivering worse performance. And btw just for 10 bucks you get this much performance:

    http://www.hwcompare.com/7256/geforce-gt-440-1-5gb-vs-radeon-hd-6750-1gb/

    http://www.hwcompare.com/7727/geforce-gt-440-1-5gb-vs-geforce-gts-450-1gb/

The GT440 here wins the last category just because it has 1.5GB Vram. But the one you chose only has 1GB, so it will be beaten in that aspect too. I'll leave it to you to decide if you want to spend $10 more for 36% and 32% better performance, respectively.

Wait, what the hell just happened? I thought I saw a different post here... Anyway, I don't think you should sacrifice CPU power, as this is Diablo we're talking about. I'm just saying that one of the two aforementioned cards will do you a lot better than the GT440 and I don't think you'll be stressing your budget that much with $10...
  7. hm i guess youre right. but quick question. is there much of a difference between ddr3 and gddr5 ?
  8. What the hell do you mean by bottlenecking? The 965 has much more power than to run those cards. He could run a 7970 without bottlenecking.
  9. There is, actually. Get the ddr5 version of the 6670: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121442

I meant that the GPU will bottleneck the CPU. I didn't really make myself clear, did I...
  11. Get a G860 for ~$85 and put the money into a HD7750.

  13. hmm what about this? i downgrade to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103911 and then unlock the 4th core. then use the money to get a better card
  14. A better option would be the pentium G860 and a z77/z68 motherboard.
